Job Description

The Department of Arts and Humanities at the University of Houston-Downtown seeks qualified adjuncts to teach lower and/or upper level Music classes including, but not limited to: Reading Music, Choral Ensemble, Piano Class, Music Appreciation, African-American Music, World Music, Jazz Styles and Special Topics. The candidate will be responsible for teaching one or two 75-minute lecture course(s) per semester as needed. Scheduling is flexible.

Master’s degree with at least 18 hours of graduate course work in Music or comparable work experience
